  1. General Information

    The general Terms and Conditions are valid for the disposal and the shipment of products by books-on-stage via the web-shop (www.books-on-stage.com). Deviant Terms and Conditions are only valid with a written agreement of books-on-stage. With a placed order the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions and is legally bound to them.

  2. Costs and Payment

    The Prices claimed on this website (www.books-on-stage.com) contain the legal purchase tax of 20%. All prices are quoted without shipment costs, which are quoted additionally.
    Payment is only accepted prior to the shipment. After the order gets in, the costumer will receive an invoice with the request for payment via email. All transactions must be transferred only to the stated bank account. Costumer Name as well as the invoice number must be stated as the reason for transfer.
    Companies from within the EU can, after they provide their VAT number, buy VAT free as in this case, no purchase tax is levied by the Austrian government. The customer (EU company) can ask for a VAT free invoice after the order is placed, by sending an email with the proper remark to shop@books-on-stage.com. A correct invoice, without purchase tax, will be issued, which states the new (VAT free) amount for payment transfer.
    Any product ordered but not paid will not be followed up and the order will loose its validity. If the invoiced amount is not received on the bank account within 30 days the order will be deleted.

  3. Shipment

    The products will be sent as a package, the shipping costs will comply with the latest tariff rates of the Österreichische Post AG (Austrian Postal Service). The current shipping costs are displayed within the order form on the website. If there are no shipping costs listed for any order, the costumer is kindly asked to send a request for the shipping costs to shop@books-on-stage.com.

  4. Delivery times

    If the ordered products are in stock, shipment will be carried out within 3 business days after payment.
    Depending on postal services customers are asked to anticipate a delay when shipping to
    Austria: 1-3 business days
    Germany: 2-4 business days
    Other European countries: 3-8 business days

    If the ordered products are out of stock, the expected shipping date will be displayed on the website as well as the invoice.

    In case of a delayed shipping date books-on-stage will inform the customer. If the customer does not agree to this delay he or she may retreat from the order, in which case all payment made will be retransferred to the costumers bank account by books-on-stage.

  5. Returns and Refunds

    books-on-stage guarantees a return for products not used and damaged within 14 days. The costumer must return the product(s) within 14 days counting from the invoice date to the postal return date.

    The product must be sent back in its best condition and original packing to books-on-stage as a post-paid package. The customer is responsible for the return shipping. The product costs (not including the shipping costs) for accurate returned products will be retransferred to the customer’s bank account by books-on-stage. The customer is accountable for any damages or traces of use and must make up for the decrease in value or the whole, in which case a proper amount will be retained.

  6. Warranty

    books-on-stage guarantees that sold products are free of material defects and manufacturing errors. In case of damaged products arriving at the customer’s in a flawless packing, the customer is advised to contact books-on-stage. In any case of deficiencies books-on-stage will replace damaged parts or (as a general rule) the whole product free of charge. For verification of the warranty, the customer only needs the original invoice or the payment confirmation.

  7. Reservation of proprietary rights

    The delivered product remains property of books-on-stage until its full payment.

  8. Privacy and data protection

    books-on-stage is obligated not to give email addresses or any other private information of customers to any third party.

  9. Jurisdiction

    Place of fulfilment for all articles of agreement is Linz, Austria. This contract is bound to Austrian laws. Contractual Language is German, even if the order is placed on the English version of books-on-stage.

  10. Software and general errors and omissions excepted. Prices are subject to change.
